PAPER STRATA ART GALLERY
While most papercut art is either black or white and often a single sheet, I push those boundaries by using color and multiple layers to create interwoven contrast and intricate patterns with depth. Using an x-acto knife, I hand cut each layer separately, building them up from a 2D drawing into bas-relief works of art.
I firmly believe that bigger is not better. The meticulous technical challenges and the resulting delicacy of working small are too intriguing to ignore.
